Rule No 3 _ Crack the code to Distractions

 Dear Readers 

I hope my off day from blogging made you think about the 2 rules I mentioned in my previous posts,if the first 2 rules got you thinking then this rule will get your thinking hats going deeper 

So let's get to it.....



Distractions are everywhere and distractions are people too, let's say you have a goal of saving money, hmmm we all wish we had the discipline when it comes to that 😅and unfortunately with the living expenses being so high, saving has become non existent...but that goal can happen if you use your focus correctly:

How do we lose focus in the 1st place, you go out you meet people, you make friends you socialise you enjoy life, and we should do that cos as people we need to connect with others, but if you want to truly connect to Thyself then please stop being like the sheep and become a lion 🦁, rather be the hunter than the prey! 

With distractions if you don't apply yourself properly you will empty your pockets out faster than the time it took to think of the goal.

So what do you do? 

I am a firm believer in the chucking policy, so I say chuck out distractions.....so how do you conquer them? 

I have divided it into 3 categories as this rule can't be explained in 1 post, so today I will focus on the professional distractions cos I believe work comes first before any play things as this is gonna give you the life that you want, so here is the secret to professional distractions:

Never allow distractions to take you off your path with your career goals or you will fall back 5 or even 10 years and the catch up will be harder. Make your small talk during your break times and keep your focus on your work and the company's goals, not only does this level you up professionally, you are teaching your brain to compartmentalize and can now tell the difference between work time and play time, this also levels you up in mastering your brain, the most valuable tool you will ever own in your life, remember I said majority of people don't know how to use the mind correctly, this is what I meant by it, we don't train our minds to work for us, we allow our minds to just be automatic and trust me when I say, no one on this earth is satisfied with being typical or basic, we want to leave our own print here before we die, that is what your spiritual side needs here on earth, to make a difference and live by the word of God.

Work is a priority when it comes to making money and we all know money makes the world go round, work is gonna give you an income which will provide you with what you need and want as well so keep that in mind! Thank God everyday for the job that you have, practice gratitude guys, this makes you see your job differently and gives your mind a broader understanding of how everything you do as a person matters in shaping your tomorrow, so if you wana be a sheep at work just remember you will end up with the sheep and what do sheep do? Eat grass all day, remember that....

God has gifted human beings with something over any other form of life on earth, you want to know what that gift is? A brain 🧠 😌 which keeps you running all day and night together with your heart and soul, so use your brain wisely and understand how important money is to survive and that growing yourself professionally will give you all the nice things you like in this life, and maybe a holiday once a year to the beach ⛱️ 😊 beside the nice things, the important parts of your life will be covered, you, your husband or wife,your kids, your family, success grows with serving others as well as being the best version of you .

I will leave you guys with this secret for now and save the best for last which is personal and playtime distractions......so until next time....

Part Three Rule No 6_Become more reflective and less observant

Dear Readers  Time to put on our thinking hats and journey down the rabbit hole.....we have come to the final part of rule No 6. Let's talk about the experiences you will go through when you decide to take the journey inward, remember going inward doesn't involve relaxing in bed and listening to music, or watching TV and thinking about your life, if you do it that way, you are still giving your time and attention to music and TV and no real journey will happen, it will be a fake form of reflecting.  Let's go deeper: If you did the exercise of making notes and reflecting on your day you probably picked up on some areas that needs more work than others, the interactions that make you uncomfortable are the ones you should be paying attention to.
