BONUS POST _ How to diffuse conflicts that arise in your life

Dear Readers πŸ‘‹

I love sharing because sharing is caring so as always.......
Time to put on your thinking hats and let's get to it:
πŸ€«πŸ˜€πŸ‘‡

You get 6 different types of thinking hats applied in business, this role playing mode was created by a genius mind Edward Do Bono back in 1986,

However this is a great tool to psychologically understand people's ways of thinking, the mindset morals values and beliefs they hold and basically what they are all about, see the thing is people reveal to you who they are, you just gotta become aware of the signs and only then can you learn to live in peace with people who annoy or bring you to agitation,,,,

Time to unlock to free thinking:
Accepting the different thinking hats blocks disagreements that happen when people with different thinking styles discuss same issues, approaching the conversation from this particular point of view helps people move outside their usual thinking styles and helps one get a broader understanding of the situation.

BLACK - Critic/analyst
BLUE - Agenda, decision, global overview
WHITE - Facts, data and figures
GREEN - Creative, growth and ideas
YELLOW - Logical and positive
RED - Emotions, hunches, gut feelings and instincts

How people react to situations shows you the type of thinking hat they wear on a regular. Time to go deeper......

Here are some examples:

Black known as Devils Advocate
Will talk along the lines of " he has no experience in managing anything so he won't be anything" (very sad hat)

Blue known as Orchestra Conductor
Will talk along the lines of " we have spent too much time looking for someone to blame" (managing hat)

White known as Factual
Will talk along the lines of " what info do we have here and what info is missing?" (analytical hat)

Green known as Innovative
Will talk along the lines of "we need solutions here, how can we grow from this?" (beautiful creative hat)

Yellow known as Positive
Will talking along the lines of "what did we gain from this situation?" ( optimistic hat)

Red known as Emotional
Will talk along the lines of "I don't like this or I don't like that, my gut feeling says it won't work, I,I,I, me myself and I ( hot hat)

And there you have it, a good understanding of this helps you learn to identify people and what their thinking is all about, remember not all of us are having the same thinking patterns and becoming aware of this can help change the black and red hats to a different colour πŸ˜πŸ’›

Until next time.....Firi_B
